 How do I install Premium Phantom alerts onto my SmartGPS?
Article On the Smart GPS, once you purchase the Premium Phantom Alerts and have the GPS connected to Wi-Fi, the Premium Phantom Alert update will be seen on your GPS within a few minutes. To verify your GPS has the content enabled follow the steps below:
  1. From the home page tap onto the gear icon in the lower left hand corner and this screen will appear then tap "Content."
  2. Tap "Phantom Alert."
  3. Premium Alerts will be Highlighted meaning they are enabled.
  4. If the Premium Alerts are grayed out, make sure the GPS has Wi-Fi enabled and you are connected to network. The Alerts will be enabled on the next Content Sync.

NOTE: If you do not have Wi-Fi You will need to use SmartGPS Eco to update the alerts by following the steps below:
  1. Go to www.smartgpseco.com/ and log into your account through SmartGPS Eco.
  2. Connect your device to your computer with a USB cable. If it doesn't turn on automatically, turn it on. The SmartGPS screen should indicate that it is in USB mode.
  3. Click on the left tab that indicates your device
  4. Click on the "Sync Data" button.
