How do I register the SmartGPS that I just purchased?
Log in to SmartGPS Eco at
. If you don’t have a Magellan account, click
to create one.
A message will prompt you to connect your SmartGPS to a computer, and a second message will prompt you to “install the browser device plug-in.”
to begin downloading the browser plug-in.
Double-click on the file icon once the download is complete.
when the Run-message appears.
Close all browsers when you’re prompted to do so.
Agree to the user license, and follow the rest of the update instructions.
when the update is complete.
Open your browser and log in to the SmartGPS Eco page.
Reconnect your SmartGPS to your computer. A message will tell you that “Your device has been successfully registered.”
