 Why is my Magellan SmartGPS not showing any POI information after syncing?
Article The content for the Magellan SmartGPS is determined by your location, the location of your contacts and information supplied from Yelp and Foursquare. If Yelp or Foursquare don’t have many POIs for your immediate location, there won’t be many (possibly none) POI content displayed. Also if you are traveling in an area that you don’t have a contact in your address book, you won’t see any POI content as there hasn’t been a reason to download content for that area.

Tip: If you plan on travelling in a city that is distant from your current location, add a contact to your address book for that city. The next time the Magellan SmartGPS is connected to Wi-Fi and syncing content, it will sync POI content for the location you added.
