 How do I power my device on/off?
Article Press the power switch to turn on the device. Press the power switch to put the device in suspend mode. Press and hold the power switch for more than 5 seconds to turn the device completely off. In most cases your device will contain a partial battery charge prior to first time use. If your device does not power on connect up to external power using the supplied vehicle power adapter or charge the device battery using the supplied USB cable. The Magellan RoadMate's battery can be charged using the supplied vehicle power adapter or USB cable. A full battery charge typically takes 4 hours. The battery will charge while in use when connected using the vehicle power adapter. When connected to your computer using the USB cable its recommended the device is powered off.
