How do I create, save, and activate a track on my eXplorist

As you travel, your eXploristâ„¢ automatically creates electronic breadcrumbs to record your movements. These breadcrumbs are temporary waypoints that are displayed on the map screen as dotted lines. The common term for these breadcrumbs is a "track". A trail takes the current track and saves it to memory. The following steps will show you how to create, save, and activate a trail on your eXplorist.
eXplorist 110, and 310 models

NOTE:
"ENTER" is executed by pressing down on the Joystick)
Press menu and select "start new track".
A message will appear prompting you to clear active track and start new track. Select yes to start new track.
Now you can start your hike or walk. Once you are finished you will see breadcrumbs on the map screen.
Press menu and select "save track".
To navigate back, or follow the track from the starting point, press the back button and select tracks.
Select the track you saved press enter.
Move the joystick to the right to active a "GOTO track."
The eXplorist will create a straight line guiding you to the first breadcrumb of the saved track. You can follow the saved track on the map screen.
eXplorist 510, 610, and 710 models
Tap the map screen to reveal the 4-corners menu items and select the Menu icon in the lower right corner.
Select "start new track".
A message will appear prompting you to clear active track and start new track. Select yes to start a new track.
Now you can start your hike or walk. Once you are finished you will see breadcrumbs on the map screen.
Tap the map screen to reveal the 4-corners menu items and select the Menu icon in the lower right corner.
Select "save track" a message will appear (what message?).
To navigate back, or follow the track from the starting point, tap onto the map screen to display the 4 corner menu then tap onto the Menu icon in the lower left hand corner of the map screen and select tracks.
Select the track you want to follow and you will see info similar to the image at the right. Tap onto the orange GO icon.
The eXplorist will create a straight line guiding you to the first breadcrumb of the saved track. You can follow the saved track on the map screen.
