What is Vertical Profile and how do I use it on my eXplorist
Article
This is a graph profiling the vertical elevation change along routes, saved tacks and your active track. To access this feature follow the steps below:
eXplorist 110, and 310 models (
NOTE:
"ENTER" is performed by pressing down on the Joystick)
Press the Back key.
Select the Dashboard icon.
Press Menu and select Switch Dashboard.
Select the Altimeter icon.
A screen containing the vertical profile of the current track will appear. It will include total ascent length , time, speed
eXplorist 510, 610, and 710
Tap the map screen to reveal the 4-corners Menu items.
Select the dashboard icon in the upper left hand corner.
At the bottom of the screen there will be 3 icons. Select the navigation screen selection icon which will be the middle icon. (this represents your navigation screen currently in use)
A screen will appear with the available navigation screens select the Altimeter icon.
