 How to disable GPS tracking on your eXplorist
Article This feature is generally used if you are going to be indoors for an extended period of time and want to save battery life by disabling GPS reception.

eXplorist GC 110 and 310 models
(NOTE: "ENTER" is executed by pressing down on the Joystick)
  1. Press Back and select Tools.
  2. Under Tools select Settings.
  3. Under settings select GPS.
  4. Set GPS to off.


eXplorist 510, 610, and 710
  1. Tap the map screen to reveal the 4-corners menu items.
  2. Select the main menu in the lower left hand corner of the screen.
  3. Scroll down and select the wrench and screwdriver Tool icon.
  4. Select Settings.
  5. Scroll down and select GPS.
  6. Set GPS to off.
