How do I configure my eXplorist GPS receiver to output NMEA data?

For eXplorist GC 110, and 310 models follow these steps:

NOTE:
"ENTER" is performed by pressing down on the Joystick)
Press the Menu key.
Select Tools.
Select Settings.
Select Connectivity.
Under Connectivity, select Mode and change it from Power Only to NMEA USB.
You will see two additional options. Select the Text option and change it to 2.1GSA. The Baud rate option should already be set to 4800 BPS.
Connect to a PC. You will see a Connect to PC screen prompt. Select Power Only Mode to enable the GPS output.
For the rest of the eXplorist line take the following steps:
With the receiver on and the Map screen displayed, tap on the map.
The Four-Corner Menu screen is displayed. Select the Main Menu button in the lower left corner.
Select the Tools icon (wrench/screwdriver) at the bottom of the display.
Select Settings.
Select Connectivity.
Under Connectivity select Mode and change it from Power Only to NMEA USB.
You will see two additional options. Select the Tex option and change it to 2.1GSA. The Baud rate option should already be set to 4800 BPS.
Connect to a PC. You will see Connect to PC screen prompt. Select “power only mode” to enable the GPS output.
NOTE:
The GPS NMEA position output will only appear when the GPS NMEA settings are turned on and when the GPS receiver has a position fix. This can be identified by observing blue signal bars in the upper right hand corner of the map screen.
