Article If you are have having problems with your RoadMate device not charging or not powering up please check the following:

  1. Check that the power cable is inserted into the cradle correctly
  2. Check that your power adapter is connected into the DC outlet properly
  3. Check that the GPS device is seated properly in cradle and the power adapter is inserted into the power port of the GPS device
  4. Make sure you are not using aftermarket accessories and only using Magellan accessories
