 How do I charge my GPS device?
Article Most Magellan GPS devices contain a non removable rechargeable battery. Magellan suggests charging your GPS device using the supplied Vehicle Power Adapter while in your vehicle. The battery will charge when the device is in use or powered off. It will take approximately 4 - 6 hours to fully charge the battery using the supplied vehicle power adapter. You may also charge your device using a USB cable however the rate of charge will take much longer than 4 - 6 hours. When charging the device battery using a USB cable power the unit off. Full battery charge using a USB may take approximately 6 -10 hours.
