How do I set a Geocache or Waypoint as a destination on my eXplorist (also known as “GO TO”)?

The eXplorist GC guides you to a Geocache or Waypoint using a "position to destination line" on the map screen as well as compass option on both the Map and Dashboard screens. The following steps will show you how to access and activate a route on your eXplorist unit.
eXplorist 510, 610, and 710
Tap the map screen to reveal the 4-corners menu items and select the waypoint or geocache icon.
Select the waypoint or geocache you want to navigate to.
Tap on the orange Go icon to the right of the waypoint ot geocache.
The route is created and the Map screen.
Note:
710 users can select between point to point or turn by turn directions under profile setup. For more information, please refer to page 13 of the user manual (provide hyperlink)
eXplorist GC and 310 models

NOTE
"ENTER" is done by pressing down on the Joystick)
Press "BACK" until the main menu is displayed
Using the Joystick select Geocaches or Waypoints.
A list will appear using the joystick select a Geocache or Waypoint.
Move joystick to the right and the GPS will automatically display the map with green line connected to you Geocache or Waypoint.
Follow the line to your Geocache or Waypoint.
