 Why do I receive a message saying "This accessory is not made to work with iPhone?"
Article The Magellan Premium Car Kit has been tested and certified by Apple. This message does not appear under normal conditions. However, according to Apple the message may appear if the doc connector is obstructed or it is not making complete contact with all the pins. Do not put the iPhone into Airplane mode. Doing so will disable phone calls and GPS. Rather, be sure to check your iPhone connector to make sure it is free of debris or moisture. Finally, to confirm that your iPhone is connected and charging, please see the power indicator icon in the upper right portion of the status bar.
