 Does the RoadMate iPhone app announce street names?
Article This feature is called TTS (Text-to-Speech) and the RoadMate iPhone app does have this feature. If the application does not announce the street names as you are actively routing take the following steps.

1. Access the Settings menu through the Main Menu screen
2. Scroll down and tap on the Voice Language icon
3. Tap on your preferred voice is in the TTS section of available voice languages
4. If you are satisfied with your selection tap on the Back icon located in the upper left hand corner of the screen until you are out of the menu screens.
