 How do I find out which firmware/software version is on my Magellan RoadMate 300?
Article "When the unit starts up, carefully watch the blue Magellan ‘Welcome’ screen. A version number will appear on the top right corner of that screen. Alternatively, you may also press the ‘option’ button: then choose ‘user settings’ -> ‘diagnostics’ -> ‘product information’: the S/W version number is also provided there.

When firmware upgrades are made available on our website, please ensure you do not download a version number lower than the one indicated in your unit. "
