My RoadMate™ unit displays the message: SD card has been removed. Program will restart. Please insert SD card with map. How do I remove the message?

If the RoadMate unit's SD card has been removed, re-insert it now. If the SD card has been lost, contact Customer Service at 1-800-707-9971. If you have not removed the SD card, it may need to be removed and re-inserted to bypass the message. To begin removing and re-inserting the SD card, remove the RoadMate unit from its cradle. On the bottom of the unit locate and peel back mylar seal coverimg the SD card. Push down on the SD card to eject. Remove the SD card then re-insert it. Push the SD card into place until it is firmly seated and clicks into place. Replace the mylar seal covering the SD card. Power the unit back on to finalize the process.
